The work consists of constructing approximately 200 Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) patches totaling approximately 31,300 square feet of 4 to 8-inch deep permanent HMA patches. Work includes, mobilization, appropriate traffic control, saw cutting of existing pavement, excavating, removing and disposing of the existing temporary asphalt patches, re-compaction of the existing aggregate base material so its suitable for pavement placement, tack coating, placement and compaction of a Type 3 Hot Mix Asphalt pavement, sealing, other miscellaneous items, and all other work in accordance with the general provisions and special provisions of this contract.
