The principle features of work contained in this project is briefly described as follows. The description is intended as a brief outline of the project. For a complete description of the project, the Contractor should refer to the Plans and Specifications. All quantities are approximate. Installation of approximately sixty-five (65) new poles. Installation of primary 25kV assemblies on approximately twenty-four (24) existing steel structures. Installation of 795 AAC and 336.4 ACSR primary overhead conductors. Installation of deadends, guys and anchors and miscellaneous hardware. Removal of 336.4 ACSR, 1/0 ACSR, 4/0 ACSR, #6 copper primary overhead conductors. Removal of deadend, guys and anchors and miscellaneous hardware. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
