8.835 Miles of Milling, Resurfacing and Shoulder Rehabilitation at Various Locations in Coffee County. The work includes constructing one or more courses of bituminous plant mixture on the reserved foundation or existing roadway surface. Ensure the mixture conforms with the line, grades, thickness and typical cross sections. In the prosecution of the Work, if it becomes necessary to remove any existing signs, markers, guardrail, etc. not covered by specific pay item, they shall be removed, stored and reinstalled, when directed by the Engineer, to line and grade, and in the same condition as when removed. Permanent signs used for staging shall be according to plans. Plywood blanks or panels will not be permitted. The use of flexible signs will not be permitted. For utility work not included in the contract, the utility contractor may use flexible signs within the project limits. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
