The Rockdale County Board of Commissioners is soliciting sealed bids to furnish all labor, material, and equipment for a 8 Inch Water Line Extension – Conyers Outlots Tract 1 & 2 in Rockdale County. The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of furnishing and installation of all tools, equipment, materials, supplies, manufactured articles, transportation and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, for the performance of all labor, work, and/or other operations as required form the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The work shall be complete, and all work, materials, and services not expressly shown or called for in the Contract Documents which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the Work in good faith shall be performed, furnished, and installed by the Contractor as though originally so specified or shown, at no increase in cost to the County. Each bid shall include a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount as guarantee that the bidder shall not withdraw the bid for 120 days after the scheduled bid opening. If awarded the contract, Bidders shall enter a written agreement with Rockdale County in accordance with the bid.
