ADA Compliance & Pedestrian Signal Upgrades on Various Rtes in Towns of Newfane, Tonawanda & West Seneca. This work shall consist of the construction of Portland cement concrete sidewalks conforming to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and in accordance with the details and Standard Sheets included in the contract documents. All work shall meet the applicable sections of the New York State Standard Specifications. Under this item the contractor shall furnish, install and configure an ADA compliant pedestrian push button station with audio capability, and its control unit, at each location as indicated in the contract documents or where directed by the Engineer. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
