The Department of Public Safety invites experienced design firms to submit qualifications to provide design and construction administration services for the replacement of approximately 18,800 square feet of existing Single Ply and ballasted EPDM roofing for the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission’s Office Building in Raleigh, NC. This project involves the tear-off of the existing roof down to the deck and the replacement of the roofing insulation, cover board, and membrane with a new two-ply modified bitumen roof. The project involves the 18,150 SF main building with 10 internal drains and a 650 SF porte cochere/entry canopy with two internal drains. The project may require replacing some roof drain leaders.
