The project consists of clearing and grubbing the site; removal of two 48” corrugated metal storm pipe culverts and headwalls; replacement and concrete encasement of an existing 8” sanitary sewer line; construction of a 7’ x 4’ precast concrete box culvert and two precast concrete headwalls; removal and replacement of two catch basins, removal of 18” corrugated metal pipes and replacement with 18” reinforced concrete pipes; and removal, replacement and milling of the existing 2-lane asphalt road across the culvert. The work includes excavation and backfill, bypass pumping of the perennial stream, dewatering of excavations, grading, topsoil, fencing, streambank stabilization and live stakes, and grassing of slopes, all as shown on the drawings and in accordance with the specifications, bid documents, and special provisions. The contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, and labor to complete the required construction as described in its entirety in the drawings and specifications, as directed by the terms of this contract including all incidentals, and as directed by the City of Dunwoody Director of Public Works or his representative.
