The objective of this activity is to construct a marine artificial reef by construction and deploying at least 21 concrete prefabricated artificial reef modules weighing at least eight feet in height and two tons each, at a single location within the Brevard County Artificial Reef Site #2 permitted area. Pre-fabricated modules will be placed in close proximity to each other in a grid pattern (no more 30 feet apart) at the deployment site location within the boundaries of the permitted area. The site is located approximately 15.5 nautical miles on a bearing of 96 degrees from Port Canaveral, Florida in the Atlantic Ocean at a depth of approximately 80 feet.
