The California DMV is inviting bids for all labor, tools, equipment, and expenses to provide as-needed hazardous material investigation, analysis and abatement and remediation services at the DMV office in Northern California. The anticipated term of this agreement is 10/1/19 through 9/30/22. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply. The bidder must be an environmental consulting firm. The bidder must provide all required certified professionals listed below to perform as-needed services throughout the term of the contract (Note: The DMV will not consider or accept alternatives to the required certified professionals listed below). The bidder must directly employ no less than two (2) of the five (5) required certified professionals listed below from the time of the bid opening through the term of the contract (Note: It is acceptable for one (1) employee that holds two (2) of the professional designations below to meet this requirement). All required certified professionals listed below that the bidder does not directly employ must be acquired by the bidder through subcontracting and must be identified on the Bidder Declaration & Subcontractor/Supplier List (Attachment 4). Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) - Certification must be provided by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH). (2). Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) - Certification must be provided by the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH). (3). Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) - Certification must be provided by the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH). (4). Certified Lead Inspector/Assessor (I/A) - Certification must be provided by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). (5). Certified Lead Project Monitor (PM) Certification must be provided by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
