Sealed Proposals for RFP 20-03: Athletic Field Lighting, Design/Build for Peachtree Charter Middle School Football Field will be received by the City of Dunwoody, hereinafter called “City.” Service providers whose proposals meet the criteria established in the Request for Proposals, at the sole discretion of the City, may be considered for Contract award. The City may, by direct negotiation, finalize terms with the service provider who is selected for award based on proposals. The bidder must include the following items or their proposal may be deemed non responsive. The City of Dunwoody reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, in whole or in part, that are deemed to be in the best interest of the City at its sole discretion. Each proposal shall include information to allow the owner to develop the operating cost calculation for the system. The information shall include the following: Lighting design of field to include number and location of poles and light fixtures. Spill light and glare control visors are required. Electrical System Requirements. All fixtures, cross arms, lens, and related parts. Remote operating capability. Wattage per fixture including ballast draw. Based on 400 hours of use per year for 25 years show the number of group lamp replacements required and when they are to occur, based on the lamp rating output hours for systems with automatic power adjustments, or 2100 hours for depreciating systems (70% of the rated lamp failure lamp life.). Pole structures and cross arms shall be designed per IBC 2012 115 MPH wind Speed Importance Factor C. The average light levels on the field must be the appropriate foot candles based on a 30 ft. x 30 ft. grid or better. Timeline and duration of installation.
