The Project is generally described as: General renovation of existing Art and Darkroom Classrooms into Digital Art Classrooms located at the 2nd Floor of Building-D, including ADA and Fire/Life-Safety upgrades. Work shall also include, but not necessarily limited to, selective demolition, wall, floor and ceiling finish upgrades, interior metal stud wall framing, drywall, painting, hollow metal doors and frames, door hardware, additional electrical power and data for computers and classroom equipment, plumbing fixtures and plumbing upgrades, and hazardous materials abatement. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by Bid Security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the Bid Proposal, inclusive of any additive Alternate Bid Item(s).
