Fayette County Public Schools (hereinafter FCPS) is soliciting proposals via this Request for Proposals (hereinafter RFP) from interested and qualified proposers to provide the construction, delivery and installation of band towers at multiple facilities within the Fayette County School District. Contractor must provide an estimated timeline of events for the production, delivery and installation of a single band tower. Contractor must obtain all required permits, for each job site, for the installation of the band tower. (If needed, per county/city requirements/regulations). Flatbed trailer delivery is required and must be scheduled with the Director of Facilities for approval. Contractor is responsible for providing crane services to unload and erect band towers upon delivery. Installation must include erecting and welding of each band tower section. Contractor must provide pricing for the installation of a concrete foundation as an additive alternative. Fayette County School District Facilities Services reserves the right to have the concrete foundation subcontracted with another vendor. Contractor must supply inserts/footings and plans for concrete foundation before the installation of each band tower. OSHA Standards, Fayette County/State of Georgia and local municipality building codes must be met.
