Baseball and Softball Barrier Netting for Multiple Facilities Project, Fayetteville GA

Current netting around the baseball/softball fields at Fayette County High School and McIntosh High School are in need of replacement. There will need to be modification to one of the nets at McIntosh High School. The contractor will be responsible for the removal and disposal of existing netting. The installation of the new netting is being requested for the Spring 2020 baseball/softball season. Fayette County High School: Replace existing baseball field safety/barrier netting. McIntosh High School: Replace existing baseball and softball field safety/barrier netting with the following modification; right field netting needs to be extended to remove potential threat of damage to business located outside the existing netted area. Contractor is responsible for the design and installation of new safety/barrier netting that covers, at minimum, the existing areas or as per specified within this solicitation. Netting layout must be designed so that foul balls do not get trapped in the netting and discharge in a controlled manner. Any poles in need of replacing or newly installed, must be included as a additive alternative. Low hanging branches or natural obstructions interfering with the installation of the new netting will be the responsibility of the contractor and any cost associated will need to be provided as a additive alternative with the bid submission. Contractor must provide specifications for the proposed safety/barrier netting configuration design and how the design meets the requirements set forth within this solicitation. Contractor must supply a sample with their bid submission.
