Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) is soliciting bids for a Contractor to install a new Contractor-furnished instrument house and constructing its foundation near the intersection of Bidwell Street and Folsom Boulevard in Folsom, CA 95630. Contractor must provide and install: utility power to the instrument house and conduits and cables for grade crossing controls. In addition, Contractor must relocate existing lateral fiber optic cables. The work includes testing of all installed equipment. In addition, Contractor must remove the decommissioned existing instrument house and foundation and salvage as directed by SacRT. Project duration is 365 calendar days. The Early Submittal Date for Bidder or any subcontractor to submit the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire to SacRT is 5:00 p.m. on Feb 21st. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply. Questions due by Feb 24th @ 5:00 PM. SacRT will provide a 5% price preference to Bidders meeting the 25% SBE participation goal set for this Contract.
