The contractor’s attention is directed to the fact that he/she should anticipate that an additional dǁĞŶƚLJ (ϮϬ) sites may be added per year of this contract to address safety concern identified by the Region and “Drag Boxing Locations” at the end of the paving season, at various locations This work may be located within Region 8 including Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam, Dutchess, Ulster and Columbia Counties. Additional quantities have been estimated and added to the contract quantities in anticipation of this work. The contractors bid price for Mobilization and any Maintenance and Protection of Traffic items should include any costs for the additional work. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
