Attendees will assemble at the Birch Reservoir, accessed from the east end of Stirling Drive in Rodeo, California. Sign-in is mandatory at the start of the inspection tour for all Attendees that wish to inspect the other job sites. Attendees will travel to the Sherwick Reservoir site and end at the Cull Creek Reservoir site. This is the only time that these sites will be open for inspection. The interior of the existing reservoirs will not be open for inspection. The inspection will last approximately 3.5 hours.

This project involves the replacement of one steel reservoir with two smaller steel reservoirs, and the rehabilitation of two steel reservoirs. General work includes demolition of a 0.94-million gallon (MG) welded-steel reservoir and 0.4-MG bolted-steel temporary reservoir, construction of two 0.31-MG welded-steel reservoirs; sealing the roof, low/high-pressure water cleaning, priming, and coating of the tank interior of a 2.9-MG steel reservoir; demolition and removal of the existing wooden roof, raising the height of the steel tank, and construction of an aluminum dome roof of a 0.38-MG steel reservoir; and abrasive blasting and recoating of tank interior and exteriors, and constructing civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and pipeline appurtenances at the reservoirs. The reservoirs are located in Rodeo, Castro Valley, and Oakland, California.
