Work under this contract consists of preventative maintenance on several bridges. The work includes bridge joint repair, rehabilitation of pavements, concrete repairs, bearing replacement, waterproofing membranes, scour and erosion repair and other incidental construction necessary for completion of the project. The scope of this work includes, but is not limited to the following: Maintain and protect traffic for the duration of the project in conformance with NYSDOT and MUTCD requirements. Unclassified excavation and disposal. Miscellaneous cold milling of existing pavements. Remove existing asphalt overlay. Removal of structural concrete. Install waterproofing membrane. Provide temporary waterway diversion structures. Each bid shall include bid security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total bid offered by the bidder. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
