The City of Lehi Power Department is inviting Proposals for all labor, tools, equipment, and expenses to provide all necessary site preparation, storm water management and debris management and containment throughout construction, grading and fill (Contractor is responsible for supplying placing, compacting, and grading fill material), any required relocation or installation of drainage piping to tie into existing site drainage. The contractor is responsible for installation, adjustment, placement and testing of all Owner and Contractor provided electrical equipment, structural steel, concrete foundations, grounding equipment, above and below grade conduit (including feeder getaway conduits to ground sleeves), and finish rock for a complete and functioning facility. The contractor is responsible for the removal of existing T1 transformer and regulators and modification of existing foundation and secondary containment within the substation yard, the new transformer is currently in the process of procurement. The contractor is responsible for the installation of new transformer and all additional primary, secondary, control and grounding connections to this equipment and tie in to the existing circuit switcher and lowside switch structure. All conduit, foundations, fiberglass grating and grounding attachment points are included in this scope. Removal of the existing low side rigid bus and associated connections are to be replaced with new 3” rigid bus and new connections to existing low side voltage transformers and switches are included in this scope. Lehi City is seeking a professional team to complete all aspects of the project required in the attached documents. The attached documents will be the guide for the project and all aspects of those documents need to be taken into account when responding to this RFP. The project management team will be expected to communicate regularly with city staff, including on-site meetings at the city’s offices, to successfully complete a design that meets the city’s goals and objectives. This project will be awarded in conjunction with 2019-13 Glen Carter Substation Demolition and Construction. Contractors must submit bids for both projects, or you will not be considered. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
