ITB Bunker Renovation Services at Mystery Valley Golf Club for DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs. DeKalb County, Georgia (hereinafter referred to as the “County”) is seeking a well-qualified contractor to submit qualifications, and pricing for Bunker Renovation Services at Mystery Valley Golf Course. The general scope of services required for Bunker Renovations which includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: labor, material, equipment, supervision, transportation, and other related services. It is recommended that the Vendor visit the golf course and become familiar with local conditions, which may affect the work to be performed, the equipment, materials, and labor required. No additional allowances shall be made due to the lack of knowledge of the conditions at any site. All bunkers located at the golf course may be subject to the renovations, so include pricing based on that assumption. Clean Out all existing sand, gravel and drainage tile which must be removed and disposed of off-site. The edges, faces and bottoms must be shaped as necessary to achieve the proper conditions to utilize the Better Billy Bunker method of construction and limit golf ball plugging or “fried egg lies”. The drainage pattern should be such that the perforated drain pipes do not exceed twelve feet from the edge of the bunker or other perforated drain pipe.
