VT wishes to enhance riders’ experiences within the City of San Angelo and the CVT depot area by providing bus shelters along bus routes and a safe depot area. Contractor will need to put together pre-fabricated metal bus shelters and install on poured concrete slabs throughout the city. All bus shelters will need to be ADA accessible. The bus shelters will provide relief from the West Texas weather while patrons wait for buses. In addition, several landscaping beds at the CVT depot will be filled in with concrete to prevent patrons from tripping on areas that were meant for xeriscaping and currently have only minimal granite rocks as landscaping. CVT anticipates awarding a three-year contract as we have contracted with the bus shelter company for 3+ years. Contractors will need to respond with itemized bids regarding the different parts of the contract.
