The University is seeking a contractor, or contractors, who can answer and respond to service calls rapidly and effectively, thus minimizing down time due to obstructed drain and sewer lines. As a result, the contractors shall have a presence in the Charlotte-Metro area, within a thirty-five (35) mile radius of the main UNC Charlotte Campus. The Contractor MUST hold a current license as a plumber who is certified to perform specified work within the State of North Carolina in order to be considered for the award of this contract. NOTE: The Contractor MUST attach a copy of their license with the bid response. Contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment required to perform the cleaning of drain clogs on an asneeded, where-needed basis. Some examples include, but are not limited to, sink drains, toilet systems, floor drains, intermediate systems, and main sewer lines. Note: This is a campus wide, convenience contract which may include academic buildings, business buildings, student recreational buildings, athletic facilities, and residence hall buildings. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
