Federal Aid No STPUL-3170(005), TIB No 8-1-027(069)-01. This contract provides for the improvement of Canyon Road East from 99th Street Court East to 84th Street East. Canyon Road East from 96th Street East to 84th Street East will be widened to a 5-lane roadway section with two through lanes in each direction and a two-way left-turn lane, with paved shoulders and cement concrete traffic curb, gutter, and sidewalk on each side. Canyon Road East from 99th Street Court East to 96th Street East will be widened to a 4-lane roadway section with paved shoulders, asphalt concrete barrier curb on the west side, and cement concrete traffic curb, gutter, and sidewalk on the east side. Improvements also include new traffic signal systems at 96th Street East and 84th Street East, street lighting, an enclosed drainage system, stormwater treatment and storage facilities, and other work.
