The work involves construction of approximately 3.5-miles of an Inflow/Outflow Canal, an adjacent Seepage Canal and associated levees along the north side of the future 6,500-acre A-2 Stormwater Treatment Area (STA). The project is located south of South Bay, FL. From South Bay, proceed south on US-27 to mile marker 60 to the A1 FEB entrance on the west side of US-27. Turn west into the A1 FEB. Follow the A1 FEB levee road west and then south until a ramp allowing access west. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
