Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CAM) building – Main Lobby – 6012 W Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC
Project 1 – Repair/Replace Fencing along tunnel road at GTCC’s Burn Tower: Build approximately 290’ of 6’ high industrial chain link fence with three (3) strands of barbed wire on top. Fencing shall have green vinyl privacy strips installed. All materials are to be provided by Vendor and must be new. Specifications: 11.5 gauge chain link wire. 2 1/2” Terminal Posts. 1 5/8” Top Rail. All posts must be set in concrete Project 2 – Furnish and Install Fencing inside warehouse at the Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CAM) building: Furnish and install 138 linear feet of 8’ galvanized chain link fence lines with black windscreen, including four (4) 5’ width single walk gates. Installation/connection to existing fencing is expected. See ATTACHMENT G: CAM FENCE DRAWING). Specifications: Fabric – 9 gauge with a 2” mesh. Top Rails – 1 5/8” OD. Line Posts – 2 1/2” OD with 8” x 8” welded plates attached. Ends, Corners, Gate Posts – 3” OD, schedule 40 with 8” x 8” welded plates attached. Gate Framework – 1 5/8” OD welded construction. Black Windscreen – Coverage to be 95%. All posts to be plated to a concrete floor with wedge anchors. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
