Sealed bids will be received by the City of San Luis Obispo at the Public Works Administration Office In general, the project is the replacement of mechanical HVAC equipment for the City/County Library, the Parks & Recreation Administration Building, and the Utilities Administration Building. Maintain Revenue Enhancement Funding signage in work area. Return Revenue Enhancement Funding signs at the end of the project or upon the Engineer’s request. The Work covered by this Specification shall include furnishing labor, material, equipment and services to construct, install and place in operation, the complete Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Systems to the extent as indicated, and as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. The Work covered under this Section shall hereinafter be referred to as the Mechanical System. A system of temperature controls shall be furnished and installed complete as hereinafter described. Low voltage wiring and conduit, complete with electrical accessories and materials as required for the installation of the temperature control system shall be furnished and installed under this Section of the Contract, but shall conform to the Specification requirements as set forth under Division 16. Gas Fired Furnaces, Fan Coil Units, Cooling Coils, Condensing Units, Heat Pump Units, Centrifugal Exhaust Fans and Roof Exhausters, Supply, return, and exhaust duct systems complete with grilles, registers and diffusers. Filter and Filter Boxes, Duct, Pipe and Equipment Insulation, Space Temperature Controls, Refrigerant Piping, Vibration Isolators.
