Kent City Hall, 220 4th Ave South, Kent WA 98032
Project involves repair of the City Hall 2nd floor courtyard to prevent water intrusion. Scope includes the removal of approx. 500 SF of pavers and mortar bed to expose the perimeter of the existing concrete deck and installation of new waterproof membrane, new pavers in new mortar bed. Also to replace perimeter wall flashings at the walls of the courtyard which will require the removal and reinstallation of existing aluminum window and door units. The existing skylight units will be replacer per plans & specs. There are 2 additive alternates: (1) replacement of the designated existing aluminum doors & windows (instead of reinstalling the existing units) and (2) removal of the entire courtyard paver system, approx. 1,231 SF down to the existing slab and installation of a new waterproof membraned and new paver system.
