The City of East Point, Georgia (hereinafter referred to as the “City”) is hereby soliciting sealed proposals from financially stable, experienced, and qualified professional individuals, consultants, and firms who are interested in entering into a contract with the City of East Point, Georgia, to establish a comprehensive gateway and wayfinding signage strategy that will develop consistent community standards which can be adapted to pre-existing destinations and future City developments. In addition to designing signage, an approved approach will need to be developed which will allow those visiting and living within the City the easy of navigating throughout the City using the wayfinding elements. The design elements of the wayfinding signage must contribute to a meaningful and easily recognizable City “brand” and the “branding elements” chosen must be easily expressed in a recognizable community identity which can be incorporated on different signage types to be used in a variety of locations throughout the City. Location sites might include light poles and landscapes and other visual elements within and adjacent to the City’s entrances and public right-of-way.
