Remove 714 linear feet of 6” water main. Replace with class 54 cement lined ductile iron and two new hydrants and isolation valves. Replace 9 copper service lines, curb stops and boxes. The Contractor shall supply all materials, tools, and labor necessary to saw-cut to neat lines and remove the existing bituminous concrete pavement and, after back-filling the trench, place a hot bituminous concrete dense binder course, and later permanent pavement as specified. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
