The work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidental and performing all work required to perform the construction of the project titled Crestview Church Road Extension. In general, construction consists of grading, drainage, erosion control, and paving to construct a 1.4 mile long, 2-lane road from Vietnam Veterans Memorial Parkway to U.S. 41/S.R 11. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder. Bond must be written by an acceptable Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed with the Department of the Treasury.
