Proponent shall furnish all things necessary to provide debris removal including, but not limited to labor, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, administrative cost (direct and indirect) and all effort necessary to perform and complete the specifications herein this RFP. The objective of this RFP and subsequent contracting activity is to secure the services of an experienced contractor(s) who is capable of efficiently removing large volumes of disaster‐generated debris from a large area in a timely and cost‐effective manner and lawfully disposing of all debris according to Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) regulations. Proponent must be capable of assembling, directing, and managing a work force that can successfully complete the debris removal and disposal operations according to all applicable rules and regulations. Proponent will supplement debris removal and disposal, if in the opinion of Clayton County the workload is such that the work will not be sufficiently completed in the time period specified. This work is coordinated through Clayton County and the Debris Monitoring Consultant. The selected Proponent will be expected to complete services in less the one hundred twenty (120) days when possible. Clayton County will give preference to companies who can meet the accelerated debris removal timeframes outlined by FEMA in the Sandy Recovery Improvement Act. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
