The general scope of work consists of asbestos abatement (include as Option 1), the removal of and existing building, regrading and grassing the site. Work includes, but is not limited to the following: Except where noted to remain, contractor shall demolish and dispose of off-site all building materials including all construction above grade, all concrete slabs above grade: Remove all foundation and retaining walls to be a minimum of 12" below finish grade. All piping and conduit below finish grade shall remain in place. Ends shall be sealed. Finish materials shall be removed and all piping and conduit shall be capped or patched below grade. Slabs remaining that are a minimum of 12" below finish grade shall be broken up prior to covering with fill. Where CMU walls extend below slabs to remain, demolish above slab and fill cores with grout for smooth finish.
