The McKinleyville Community Services District is inviting bids for all labor, tools, equipment, and expenses to plan, design, permit, procure, build, commission, and monitor a microgrid at their Wastewater Management Facility (WWMF) that integrates solar photovoltaic (PV) renewable energy generation, battery energy storage system (BESS), Microgrid Management System (MGMS), existing diesel generator, and dispatchable demand. The firm will provide all necessary equipment, materials, and related services to design, construct, and integrate the new system upgrades with existing infrastructure at the facility, and interconnection with the grid. The firm will be responsible for establishing cost savings for the project, developing a measurement and verification plan, and guaranteeing project performance and savings through long term monitoring. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
