This proposal is for design/build services. There are numerous segments of the Choctawhatchee Bay and River watershed identified as impaired by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and codified in Florida’s Impaired Surface Waters Rule, Chapter 62-303, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C). This list also includes seven adjacent Gulf beaches. The purpose of this Invitation to Negotiate is to establish a real time water quality monitoring network that will provide data used to inform the development of the Comprehensive Conservation Management Plan for the Choctawhatchee Bay Estuary Program, identify pollution sources and ultimately guide projects designed to eliminate or mitigate those sources of pollution. This project encourages M/WBE participation.
