The Encina Wastewater Authority is inviting bids for all labor, tools, equipment, and expenses to provide the following work: Digester Cleaning and Coating Project will rehabilitate Digesters 5 and 6 at the EWPCF. Digester 6 then 5 will be sequentially taken out of service, drained, cleaned, and rehabilitated. For each digester, scaffolding will be installed inside the digester, and the cover will be inspected, repaired as necessary, and recoated. Dehumidification of the tank interior will be required to facilitate expedited and quality recoating of the interior digester cover. A geomembrane will be installed on the digester skirt plate to address leakage of digester gas at the annular seal. New process valves, gas handling equipment, and pipe supports will be installed with the tank out of service. Each tank will then be returned to service following completion of the rehabilitation activities. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply. Time to complete is 275 Calendar Days.
