Invitation For Bids for Dorris Road Stormwater Improvement Project for Douglasville – Douglas County Water & Sewer Authority. he scope of work includes the provision by the Contractor of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work. The Project will be “turn key” and require minimal involvement of Authority personnel. The work to be performed shall include but is not limited to the removal of approximately 62 linear feet (LF) of 12” ductile iron pipe (DIP) sewer main, approximately 45 LF of 18” reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) and its headwall, the upstream and downstream concrete aprons, the upstream and downstream wing walls and adjoining parapets, two catch basin tops, concrete curb and gutter, two pavement sawcuts, concrete sidewalk, and road pavement. The Project will also include the installation of approximately 62 LF of 20” sewer main with 36” steel casing, approximately 70 LF of 18” RCP, two new manhole lids, upstream and downstream concrete aprons, upstream and downstream wing walls, a straight drop structure, handrail, two catch basin tops, concrete sidewalk, road restoration, along with landscaping and grading and erosion control associated with the installation of these items.
