North and South State Street between Martin Luther King East and James Street. The total length of the project is 15,680 feet (3.02 miles). The project includes safety upgrades; milling and paving of the roadway surface with areas of full depth reconstruction; curbing, sidewalk, and driveway work; and upgrades to signs, traffic signals, and pavement markings. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
