Hillsborough County is seeking a qualified contractor to provide services for the maintenance dredging of muck (not native soils) within East Lake channels (T-29S, R-19E, S29-19-3). The assumed depth of muck is 2 ft. and the channel has lengths measuring 2,300' (east channel) and 1,200' (west channel). The contractor shall locate containment site with method, disposal site, acquire permits, create surveys/plans, collect samples to measure dry weight of spoils, coordinate with residents, as well as factor in trash/debris and floating vegetation removal within channels. inority and women owned firms will be afforded a full opportunity to participate in these matters and will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, sex, color or national origin.
