The City of Winter Park is seeking proposals to award a continuing contract to one or more Contractor(s) for facility installation & maintenance services for the City of Winter Park Electric Utility. Contractor(s) shall be responsible for the installation and maintenance of various types of equipment and facilities required in the operation of the City’s utility, including its city-wide undergrounding initiative, as needed and directed by the City. Contractor shall be properly licensed by the State of Florida, Orange County and the City of Winter Park, as necessary, to perform the services described herein. Contractor shall be proficient in the technical knowledge and practical experience required by the services described herein. Contractor shall have available the labor force necessary to maintain project schedules established by the City. Contractor shall have the ability and equipment necessary to provide installation and maintenance services to overhead and underground facilities, including the conversion from overhead to underground. Contractor shall have adequate financial status to meet the financial obligations incident to the services required. This project encourages M/WBE participation.
