The Project consists in developing a multiuse trail that will traverse from the intersection of Old Winterville Road proceeding east, generally following the abandoned rail line and ending at Hancock Road. The project includes approximately 1.8 miles of 12-14’ wide concrete multiuse trail spanning multiple property parcels and includes a 175’ bridge to span the future north bound entrance ramp to the bypass from Lexington Rd US Hwy 78/ SR10 with all other necessary associated work and materials necessary for the completion of the project. The Project also incorporates the installation of approximately 5,000 linear feet of recycled water main in conjunction with the trail construction. This project is locally funded but includes coordination efforts with Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). An original Bid Bond for 5% of the total bid must be submitted with the bid. Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price and Payment Bond in the amount of 110% of the contract price will be required if contract is awarded.
