Sealed Bids will be received by the Forsyth County Board of Education (the “Owner”) at Forsyth County Board of Education, Professional Development Center. The Project will be awarded by Base Bid plus Selected Alternates. All interested parties are invited to attend. Project description: Modifications of 2,250sf existing Technology Laboratories at each of the four (4) Middle Schools listed and as more particularly set forth in the Bidding Documents. The Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis by Base Bid plus Selected Alternates. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after Bid opening, except as otherwise expressly provided by applicable law. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The Owner will provide the forms of all bonds.
