Seattle District requires hydraulic maintenance dredging of the Upper Settling Basin and the Federal channel adjacent to the Lower Settling Basins in the Snohomish River Federal navigation channel. The volume of sediment to be dredged from the Upper Settling Basin is approximately 100,000 cubic yards with placement at the City of Everett property Site O, near the dredge area. For the channel segment adjacent to the Lower Settling Basin, the Contractor shall hydraulically dredge approximately 40,000 cubic yards of sediment with placement at the western shore of Jetty Island. In-water work begins 16 October 2019 and all in-water work must be completed by 14 February 2020.
