Middle Georgia State University is looking for one supplier to provide grounds maintenance for the Cochran, Dublin and Eastman Campus. Middle Georgia State University would like to establish an agency contract with one initial year plus up to four one-year renewals. Each of the coaches will be responsible for mowing their own fields. The Athletic Field maintenance part of this contract includes equipment, material and labor to apply fertilization, herbicide and pesticides; over sanding; aeration; and annual rye grass seeding. NOTE: Irrigation is not included in this contract; repairs will be completed at the Owner’s request and will be at an additional cost. Annual Over‐Sanding – In spring, between April and June, each field (baseball, softball and soccer) will receive a top dressing of ¼” of thick, white masonry sand. Seeding of Annual Rye Grass – Each of the fields will be seeded with Pennington Sunrise Primo Annual Rye Grass in a double‐pass checker‐board pattern. This work is to be conducted in the fall (September/October). Estimate of amounts needed per field (minimums) are as follows: Softball field – 500 lbs Baseball field – 1000 lbs Soccer field – 1000 lbs Monthly Pesticide Application – The fields will be kept free of fire ants and other pests. Treatment will be monthly and as needed. Callbacks should be factored into the bid and should not result in an additional cost.
