Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all operations necessary for the maintenance and construction of various inanimate structures and features along with all appurtenant work necessary to accomplish a complete Hardscape at designated locations within the City Limits of Jacksonville, Florida. All bidders on this project must be on the City of Jacksonville’s approved Pre-Qualified Bidders List under the Horizontal Construction category prior to bid opening. The Bidder/Contractor and his named subcontractor(s) shall be a U.S. company located within three hundred (300) miles of Jacksonville, Florida. The Bidder/Contractor and/or his named subcontractor(s) shall have experience in performing all work typical to the maintenance and construction of interlocking pavers, specialty concrete and pattern/ texture asphalt treatments. They shall have successfully completed the maintenance and construction of a minimum of one thousand acceptable square yards (1,000sy) of interlocking pavers, five hundred acceptable square yards (500sy) of specialty concrete and one hundred square yards (100sy) of each of the pattern/texture asphalt treatments identified in the specifications. The Contract shall become effective on October 1, 2019.
