The scope of work includes earthwork and related operations, including but not limited to, dewatering, as required; excavating all classes of material encountered; pumping, draining and handling of water encountered in the excavations; handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of all excavated and unsuitable material; backfilling all trenches and pits; compacting; all sheeting, shoring and bracing; and any other similar, incidental, or appurtenant earth-work operation which may be necessary to properly complete the work involving the construction of water, sewer, and force mains. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
