This is a highway safety project along 35th Avenue between Suter Street (west of I-580) and E 12th St. It involves installing rectangular rapid flashing beacon, high-intensity activated crosswalks, advanced stop lines, signing, striping, and ADA ramps. The project also involves a left turn lane and signal installation at 35th Avenue and Foothill Boulevcard, together with a road diet and buffered bicycle lanes on 35th Avenue between E 12th St and International Boulevard. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
