Bids received after the designated date and time will not be accepted and will be considered invalid. Coweta County may negotiate changes with the successful bidder. An inability to comply with negotiated changes shall deem the bidder unsuccessful and shall void any contractual agreements reached. The Major Items of Work Consist of; Provide and install new HVAC systems per plans and specifications. Provide and install commercial, wall mounted programmable thermostat with auto changeover, fan ON/AUTO control and louvered steel T’STAT guard. Start‐up new HVAC systems and monitor for any issues. Install new system to the current industry standard and building codes. Contractor to supply new system with a minimum one‐year labor warranty and minimum five‐year parts warranty from date of completion. The contractor will comply with industry standards and best practices as it pertains to safety for the duration of the project. The contractor will be responsible to ensure the safety of the citizens and building occupants with the use of barricades and signage. Contractor is responsible for the protection of the building from weather related conditions during the process of installation. Contractor is responsible the protection of the gymnasium floor during theinstallation of HVAC systems.
