The California Department of Technology Services is inviting firms to pre-qualify via eVAQ for upcoming projects. The California Department of Technology, Statewide Technology Procurement Division intends to establish a multiple award statewide contracting vehicle for the State of California and local government agencies/entities to obtain inside plant and outside plant structured cabling service (SCS). The IFB for SCS will be released late May 2019, with anticipated August 2019 contract award(s). This event is the release of an Electronic Vendor Application Qualification (eVAQ). The purpose of the eVAQ is to develop a pool of pre-qualified vendors able to provide bids for SCS. The eVAQ is not a contract, but is a mandatory first step in the bidding process to establish a statewide contract. DBE, DVBE, MB, Strongly Encouraged.
