The Project will be a new Type II detention facility built on approximately forty acres of County-owned undeveloped property of the James A. Musick Facility site. The Project involves the construction of a new standalone minimum/medium adult custody jail facility consisting of Phase 1 and Phase 2. The Project will also contain spaces for administrative and staff support and general support services. Included are inmate jail housing, health care services, inmate intake, kitchen services, administrative & staff support space, visitation, property storage, and site improvements necessary to support construction, security, aesthetics, and parking. Included are two (2) new inmate housing areas which contain 512 rated beds and 384 rated beds, respectively. The 384-bed housing unit will include programming, treatment and housing spaces. Separate warehouse, central plant and maintenance building structures are also included in the scope of work. Only General Contractors that are pre-qualified may bid on this project. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
