The City of Fremont requests proposals from qualified firms to provide Janitorial Services for the City of Fremont facilities. The scope of services generally includes providing professional janitorial cleaning and other miscellaneous services at seventy (70) City-owned facilities located throughout the City, and comprising approximately 506,363 square feet of janitorial service area. The facilities consist of City Administration facilities, Fire Stations, Community Centers, Public Park and Recreation facilities, Historic Sites, Human Services facilities, a Maintenance Center, and three Libraries operated by the County of Alameda. The Janitorial Service is managed by the Public Works Department, Building Maintenance Section. The Successful Proposer shall provide full-time, site-dedicated, day and night janitorial services to be performed by a sufficient number and level of janitorial staffing, including managers, utility, porter, and janitor personnel. In addition, the Contractor shall provide all the equipment, tools, cleaning products (excluding consumable supplies as defined in Section B.1.), vehicles, and other items and services necessary to perform this Janitorial Service. Bonds required.
