The project includes replacing approximately 285 feet of 18-inch gravity sewer line with 24-inch gravity sewer line. The project will include rehabilitating four associated manholes. All work for the project shall be performed in accordance with City of Valdosta Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Construction and as shown in the contract specifications, complete, tested, and ready for operation. Bids shall be submitted for all work and labor related to furnishing and installing all materials for the project and be based on the most practical, feasible and cost-effective method for completing the work. Each Bid must be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid.
